Here, you get to witness all my academic progress here at CityTech as a Communication Design Student. From typography to design layouts to photography, these are the many assignments I was most proud of working on.

RASTER & VECTOR : PHOTO RECREATION
The image on the left is a polaroid photo of my grandparents. Due to the photo being very vintage, there was some complications with adding precise details. For all the clothing dents, I drew lines around their clothes to give that aspect. I added a gradient to my grandmother’s shirt to match the lighting of the photo. During this project, we were learning how to do pattern swatches, so I decided to add hearts in the background to show the lovely relationship between them.
GRAPHIC DESIGN PRINCIPLES : PROCESS BOOK
Throughout this semester at the time, me and my classmates had to work with everyday objects and try to find deeper meanings and connections with these objects. At the end, my object was a pair of scissors. I’ve had many relationships and bonds be broken / disbanded. These days, the term “cut them off” was trending, meaning to stop associating with others. I wanted to make a campaign for people to leave relationships behind if it’s too troubling. I decided to use “Cut ‘Em Off” as the name for this campaign. Incorporating the main object within the logo and posters was a very important key for me. My main goal for these posters are to gather individuals together to be louder than their silence and separate from those who cause trouble. This PDF file contains my entire work of the semester, containing lecture notes, research, class exercises, & projects.

PHOTOGRAPHY
- Bridge – A wide shot of people on the Brooklyn Bridge looking up at the sky as the Freedom Tower shines at the background.
- Tree Through Hole – A close up shot of a wall filled with holes in a playground. Within this hole is a big beautiful focused tree, highlighting the key factor of a frame within a frame photo.
- Remmick Cosplay – A medium shot of myself dressing up as the character, Remmick, from the movie “Sinners”. This photo helped me practice using a tripod and play with lighting in a dark setting.

TYPOGRAPHIC DESIGN : CALM PALM MANUAL
I created a product called “Calm Palm”, a glove that massages the muscles of your hands any time while wearing them. This product is mainly advertised for individuals with arthritis, anxiety, or athletes. This manual will let customers know how to use the product correctly. With the format of my type and images, I wanted my consumers to have the easiest time reading this manual.
COMMUNICATION DESIGN : HEALING PATHWAYS CAMPAIGN
Me and my fellow classmate, Amaris Cruz, wanted to build a PSA campaign to help those who suffer from generational trauma. My part of the project was to do research and gain statistics. Amaris designed 3 posters mainly on the different routes of trauma. I added a statistic within a poster and added a QR code for survey to get stats from family, friends, and other classmates.
