Group Meeting

Although EESL students conduct research in tight class schedules, they have a chance to get together and discuss research related topics in weekly group meetings.

The first 30 minutes of group meeting will be a discussion and updates. After the meeting, students can conduct research individually in MECH Department Labs (Voorhees 5th floor, supervision required for all machine use), computer lab (club room), library or, Prof. Nakamura’s office.

The purpose of the session of group meeting is

1) to update individual progress each other,
2) to discuss related topics/news of your research,
3) to exchange knowledge or information of research skills (or how to solve problems) that can be useful for other members, and
4) to give a presentation of your research to other members for either practice or study purpose (like seminar).

Refreshments will be served.
