I’ve worked on about 6 projects during my time in this organization. All of the projects are on social issues related topics and we have to create an instagram post image for them. As I’ve mentioned before, we use Teams to communicate and deliver work which is pretty efficient since there is a section within the platform called planner. On planner I have task that are assigned specifically to me. Each task with a title and a description. For example, I had a recent task with the title “How to talk about justice with family and friends” and a short description of the topic. For this specific project I decided it’d be best to create a carousel since I didn’t want to fill a page with a bunch of information. I wanted to be this post to be simple but very informative. The only specs for every project are following the brand’s identity colors and fonts as well as having the logo in each of the images. We are free to upload as many images per project as we want so for this project I made 6 slides. For me this topic was obvious so I illustrated the tips for how to talk about sensitive topics with family and friends since I wanted this to be easy to understand, along with some text. I used Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator for this project. This made me realize how much time illustration can take even when it’s simple since mine weren’t too complex. However, it is rewarding seeing how the concept I had in mine came to life.
