For my latest task, it was a more flexiable task where I had to choose different photos to represent each article with the theme of things to do while quarantined. Β Pexels was a great resource as I was able to find photos that captured the right essence of the theme. Β This task wasn’t flexible and easy flowing just because of the task itself but I was able to put myself in this project with everything that happened in 2020, I understood what the mood needed to be in each photo.

The election ballot that was previously designed needed to be updated and fortunately for me the only thing I needed to do was change the name of one of the representatives. Β Even though it was a more easy flowing task there still was the problem for the language since I had to change the name of the representative, it meant I had to change it in the 6 languages that was required as well. Even so, there was no struggle with getting the language changed and the design task was completed.

The next project that I was given was to design the company envelope that included the company logo and contact information. Β With this project I took a more hands on approach and I constructed an actual envelope from scratch using some of my sketch book paper in order to know which sides I needed to design on and to make sure everything was flowing correctly. Β I used Adobe Illustrator to make 4 to 5 design layouts for the envelope and decided on three that I thought were the strongest. Β This project did take a while to complete because of the different layouts and the feedback I was getting from my supervisor. Β To see if the envelope was executing the right way I decided to do a mockup and show the real look of the envelope as if it was to be sent out the next day.
