Dr. Zhong Nanshan, now 84, who rpeviously relieved the world of a similar epidemic, SARS, 17 years ago was rush to Wuhan, a city in central China, to investigate a strange new coronavirus. When Dr. Zhong discovered the rapid spread of the virus, he rushed to Beijing to sound the alarm. The first alarm was sounded on December 30th, 2019, however officials in both Wuhan and Beijing hid the extent of the coronavirus. Delaying the the signaling of the public alarm unleashed the virus making it harder for contamination against the rest of the world. Immediately COIS-19 reminded some scientists of the SARS epidemic of 2002-2003 which was caused by a coronavirus outbreak in China and killed nearly 800 people worldwide. It was founded the coronavirus roughly similar to SARS. Both SARS and COVID-19 had been spread from animal to person and then from person to person cause serious and some fatal illnesses. A very ignorant and infuriated President Trump spent months blaming Beijing for what he called “the China virus.”  “One early study projected that China could have reduced the total number of cases by 66 percent had officials acted a week earlier. Action three weeks earlier could have dropped the caseload by 95 percent.”

Coronavirus Outbreak

“How COVID-19 Slipped China’s Grasp” Chris Buckley, David D. Kirkpatrick, Amy Qin, and

When China first investigated the coronavirus, Dr. Zhong Nanshan, who had relieved people of a previous relieved people of a similar epidemic 17 years ago, was called in an emergency to help bring light to the now COVID-19. Dr. Nanshan rushed to Beijing and urged officials to sound the alarm to warn China about the rapidly spreading virus. However, by then, approximately 636 lives had been taken by the coronavirus and it was too late to try and enforce containment. The first alarm wasn’t sounded until December 30th, 2019 “yet officials in Wuhan and Beijing concealed the extent of infections or refused to act on warnings.”

The outbreak caught the attention of an ophthalmologist by the name of Li Wenliang. A text message that wrote “A new coronavirus infection has been confirmed and its type is being identified. Inform all family and relatives to be on guard,” was sent out to Dr. Li Wenliang’s former medical school classmates on December 30th. Unfortunately, Dr. Wenliang was a victim of the same virus he tried to warn his former students of. “At the time, Wuhan’s health bureau said there was no evidence of spread between humans”, which turned out to be false, in January, when Dr. Wenliang was diagnosed with coronavirus after being infected by a patient of his.

After 1.7 million cases and 46 thousand deaths, in New York City alone, it took almost an entire year of quarantine to formulate a vaccine for the deadly virus. Many people who had to virus stated that they felt better after the fourth day of receiving the vaccine. “Ms. Dodd, who continues to feel good, is among a number of people who are reporting that the post-Covid symptoms they’ve experienced for months have begun improving, sometimes significantly, after they got the vaccine.”

Where I’m located in Queens, there is a free bus service that’ll take you to a clinic location where you can receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Over 3 million vaccinations have been administered throughout New York City and all New Yorkers are eligible for the vaccine.

I am big on procrastination especially when it comes to writing assignments. I usually have major writers’ block and doing a writing assignment last minute just helped me rush my ideas. But because I have assignment after assignment, I can’t really do that anymore which is why I said time management is super important for me now. If I have something due 5 days from now, I’d work on it every day up until the day itis due, and by then, it’s practically finished. That way I can take my time to review, edit, and still focus on handing in other assignments on time. Cramming everything last minute can either go good or bad forme. It can get finished or I can get really overwhelmed and say forget it because I’m lazy. However, this assignment I didn’t mind writing because I tell everyone my experience with school although it’s bad. I think anyone can further their education for a better life regardless of their history in school
