Upon viewing the videos it is very clear to see the density of how much work was placed into each short film. In the Dr.No “James Bond title sequence” a vast verity of techniques were used in a multitude of ways and combinations, specifically in the use of colors. The smooth blend of cool to warm colors at the beginning of the video transitioned very well in an almost fluid motion. While the animation of the monochromatic colored circles gathered together as sort of rainbow motion from frame to frame regardless of the fast pace movement of the animation. I really enjoyed the fading motions of certain images, this was greatly supported by the audio remaining in sync of every animation. Each sound was anticipated to match even the changes in color. However, even though the music lines together with animation, the actual frame to frame transition appeared to have somewhat of a delay, which I found to be noticeable. Compared to the “Apple Promo piece” where extremely soft, and well mended transitions are in synchronized flow with the audio and both music and narrative correlate to whatever the subject matter is at the time. Although the display of the video appeared to be well balanced the footage of what was being show would be off-putting to the mood or tone that is set.
