In this final part of the project, we were instructed to pick out a composition of shapes and draw them in repetition to create a pattern on a 7×7 grid. During this process, I found the task to be very challenging yet interesting for a number of reasons. One of them was getting every single one of the patterns to be the exact same as the previous ones in both size and length. There were many times that I lost the form of the patterns and some of them ended up coming out less successful than others. At the end of this experiment, I was surprised how difficult a task that might seem simple can be, but I also was able to realize that sometimes taking the time to design something by hand can be more pleasant to look at and appreciated than it would if you created simply by designing it by the computer.
