One of the ethics chapters in relation to my current internship was not copying anyone and creating something unique. Be honest with what I do. Whether in colors, design or concept. In other words, my personal ethics are standards by which a person judges behavior as “right” or “wrong.” Ethical expectations often take the form of principles such as: concern for the welfare of others. Respect for others. reliability and honesty.

I am an illustrator and so far I have always used Illustrator Adobe and Core Drawn. But Procreate is another level. I can say that so far it is the best program or application to draw.

Procreate is a tool with which it is very easy to get along, especially if we already have previous experience in other drawing or image applications, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Its interface is characterized by being very simplified and defined

Procreate iPad is like having your drawing studio close at hand. The simple fact of having an application this complete and professional allows any artist to continue its work from anywhere. If you draw and you love moving around.

Highly recommended if you like to draw.

I really don’t like using photo filter apps or manipulating backgrounds in photos with these  apps. I have always used Photoshop. I think it is a powerful and very useful program for this type of work such as color retouching or manipulation.

But I changed my mind when using the Prequel app. It has a large number of filters and effects for all types of images not only for photos. It has a particular filter that is 3d to generate volume and perspective in the images.

I can say that it is very useful if we constantly work with social media platforms such as: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This application relieves and optimizes our work because everything is instantaneous and predetermined.

First we choose the size where the image will be placed and then we add the effects or filters to the images to highlight the images and then proceed to upload the image to any of our social media that is already linked in the Prequel app.

One of the things I learned is to value work and put a price on the things we do. Also value the time of the other people with whom we work.

In this intership I perform administrative tasks, as well as functions related to my specialty. Among the administrators I could say that it is to check the calendar to see the next events and the tasks related to my specialty have to do with graphic design, such as poster and website design.

My typical day in my internship starts by communicating with my supervisor and following directions on what we are going to work on such as: website design, posters or equipment maintenance.

The culture of my workplace is casual, friendly and relaxed. I work from home and the clothes I wear are casual. My typical workday begins on weekends: Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

I start the day by checking emails and comments. Confirming the calendar of the days that there will be livestream and designing the posters for instagram and uploading stories about the upcoming events. I also spend a couple of hours designing the website and sometimes maintaining the video cameras and turntables for the Twitch account when necessary.

I communicate with my supervisor by email and by face time. The programs I use are: Photoshop, indesign, and illustrator to design the posters and the website.
Also, OBS Studio to control cameras and twitch account when needed.

The Deep Groove is a small business company of 2 members. Located in Brooklyn. It is a public company. The business of this company is entertainment, broadcasting music online.

The main activity is entertaining people with music. Also the purchase and sale of collectible vinyls records. The type of clients are all those who love music especially vinyl records. The area where I work is social media and graphics.

My first experience doing my internship in the deep groove was fascinating. It is a space for all music lovers and lovers of vinyl records, music collectors from all over the world. The space is virtual and is broadcast live almost every weekend on twitch and facebook live.
This time I had to design the flayer for the last event and help configure the turntable for the event.
