Desiree wants to serve with purpose, to always create, and absorb knowledge. So that these core values as an individual will go hand in hand with her innate skills to lead and teach. The idea of leading and teaching will give Desiree the gift of giving back not only into her community but to her professional community as well. The reason behind her drive to mentor and guidance entering the workforce stem from the men and women in her life teachers, co-workers, and librarians who pushed Desiree to go further no matter what circumstances we’re in her environment.
