Created a face illustration. For the process of this project, I used Adobe Illustrator to trace the Image of a sculpture by using the pen tool.

This is a black-and-white portrait that uses patterns of varying densities instead of shades of gray. I designed four geometric patterns of different densities to replace the four shades of gray in the image.

A color wheel uses a circle to represent the colors in the spectrum and how they visually relate. For this assignment, I created 12 painting sketches (one for each of the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors) and assembled them into a color wheel.

Produce four 6” x 6” paintings that recreate the composition (placement of visual elements) of a photograph, using only a small number of individual shapes: 2, 4, 6, and 10 (not including the ground/ background). These paintings will also use four different color schemes: grayscale and one monochrome (single color plus black and white) for each primary color.

  • View an image from an abstract perspective, with its visual qualities separated from its real-world context.
  • Walk through a typical design workflow: research/analysis, drafting, production, finishing.

I used photomontage techniques to design an album cover for a fictional band. For this project, I started by gathering different images from magazines and using them for my Photomontage, which I created using Photoshop.
