        • Written Project Reflection: In the Deliver section of your post, document your thoughts about this project. First paragraph is a short description of the project in your own words. Second paragraph is your thoughts and feelings about what you learned, enjoyed, what you could have done better (planning, material use, craft), and how you might apply what you learned to your next project.

      • Create your project Mindmap about subjects you’re curious about, starting with many branches and isolating two you are most interested in. Add color and small images
      • Do written description about why you chose these subjects

    • Make sure Project 1 is posted fully on OpenLab

Class 8

      • Research your chosen subjects for interesting aspects to portray your ideas, such as pictograms, photo sources
        • Don’t copy exactly but modify and change to be original
      • Pencil on sketchbook only

    • For March, start collecting color sample chips from Hardware and Paint Supply stores
      • 20 total, all different hues, shades, intensities.

Class 9

        • Examples of Stable and Ambiguous compositions
          • Both in graphic design examples (imogis, logos, graphic products etc AND how you frame photos you take, like silhouettes through a window, figure/ground framing.

      • TAKE PHOTOS. FOR TEXTURE MONOCHROME COLLAGE
        • Choose your color you want to work with: A Primary or Secondary Hue: either Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Violet, Green
          • For each hue look for Hue, Value and Saturation range.
            • Saturation means Intensity – so go from dull low intensity hues, to vivid high intensity hues within your color.
            • Value means light to dark, so shoot images of very pale light and deep dark versions of your color.
            • Hue is the color itself so if it’s Blue, go from Blue-Green to Blue to Blue-Violet.
              • Eg. If you choose Orange, you can range from Yellow-Orange to Red-Orange
        • Be assertive and take 20 photos in a wide range of that color, and all kinds of textures. Fruit, flowers, objects, fabric: shiny, dull, rough, smooth etc etc
      • BRING FILES OF YOUR PHOTOS READY TO POST INTO MILANOTE AND TO USE IN PHOTOSHOP
