The goal of this project was to create four different designs: two stable, and two ambiguous. First I drew out a mind map consisting of topics that interest me, and then branched out with different subjects that relate in some way. Then, I chose three of those words to use in the final design, and created thumbnail concepts. For the next part, I had to start sketching my stable/ambiguous designs and then ink them.
I actually really enjoyed this project, it was fun to figure out ways to convey the different topics and I enjoyed seeing how other classmates went about it. My favorite part was after i figured out exactly what designs I wanted to do, and then developing them as I sketched them out. I also liked the research part, because I ended up finding some interesting things I didn’t know about. Something I definitely could have done different is being more careful when inking, since a lot of my lines ended up being really shaky.
