Solar_Decathlon_Costa

My idea for the solar decathlon solar panels on the facade of the building is to have two V shaped metal arms on each end of the building that meet at the center of the building. The arms would open forward caring the solar panels away from the building. All the panels would be attached to a rotating ball at the center where both arms meet. This ball would rotate the panels throughout the day to meet the best sun exposure for the panels. More panels would be attached to the “bottom” of the building, though 6′-8′ away in a “platform” like space to provide a balcony for residents.
