In my opinion. These concepts do work because it is showing the purpose of the logo, which is about poetry, but there is one that stands out more than the others. It is the logo in the bottom left. I chose this one because the letters are formed in a medieval style, and poetry was a huge thing back in medieval times. This would also make the viewer more interested in the logo because of its interesting font and how it was formatted. -Gio
Some of these don’t work as well as the others but I feel like all of them could. The one on the bottom left is the least to work, in my opinion. I think it’s due to the fact that the designs of the squares makes the letters hard to see. It’s too “over the top” and people that have difficulties seeing might have a hard time reading that. One that I think is the best is the one in the bottom middle section. I like the font style and how there’s black in the back of the white. It makes the letters pop in a good way while also remaining simple. The letters aren’t too big and too bold either. I think it’s a good logo to use especially if it’s going to be in a pure white/light colored background, while also possibly being able to look good in a dark background.
I believe some of these concepts do work but the one on the bottom left is a little hard to read so I don’t think it would be a good choice. I think the one on the bottom right works the best because it is simple and easy to read but it’s not overly simple. I think it matches the poetry theme.
I think the overall concept work well because the typography is easy to recognize. I like how they use the color, there’s only red and black which look concise. However some of the designs feels a little too crowded, and the layout make the words harder to read. I the middle design on the top the best. It is simple and helps me see the words clearly.
i think that the top right is strong, clean,modern,memorable and the grid reinforces the ide of foundation, also i thing thta the vottom right its elegant and literary.
i’d develop the top-right especially refining the red lines so they feel more integrated into the design.
