Forgot Your Password?

Step 1: Go to the CUNYFirst website http://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu

Step 2: Click on Forgot Password

Step 3: Type in either your Username or your EMPL ID number. You don’t have to type-in both information; just choose the one that seem easier to remember.

Step 4: You will need to answer your security questions you set up when you claimed your CUNYFirst account. Only 3 out of 5 of the questions will show up.

  ***Remember your answers are case sensitive***

Step 5: Then set up a new password once you finished answering your questions.

  ***Be aware that you can’t use any of the previous password.

***Every new password will last for 90 days.

Step 6: You will get a SUCCESSFUL page. Go back to http://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu and try to log-in and see everything is working fine.

IMPORTANT: If you forgot the answer to your questions, don’t worry! You can do First Time Users as many times as you like to reset your account.
