I am in the Law and Paralegal Studies program because I enjoy learning the law, its a very surprising system we have and everyday I learn something new in which I become wiser obviously, but i feel like i have an upper-hand living in a country where many African American Women are looked down at and expected to not know their rights. By receiving this education I will be the first in my family to attend and prayerfully graduate college, and be able to show other kids of color or different ethnicities that it is possible, oh and I would like to one day be a Judge … one day.
