I can’t draw to save my life, to be honest. I don’t have a favorite subject; I dislike them all evenly. I’ve just been enjoying life as it goes.

My name is Amarilda Gilaj, and I am a fashion business major, but I’m planning to transfer to ” Law and paralegal studies” then to criminal justice and become a Criminal Defense Attorney (at least that’s the plan for now). I took some years off from school to understand what I want to do with my future, and being an Attorney is the goal.

Hi everyone, My name is Sabbir Ali, but you can call me Sabbir or Ali it doesn’t matter. I enjoy being physically active, which is one of the reasons I want to pursue a career in criminal justice and, hopefully, become an undercover cop one day. Currently, I am majoring in paralegal studies since this college doesn’t offer a direct criminal justice program. My plan is to transfer to John Jay College of Criminal Justice by next semester to study criminal justice management.

Outside of academics, I love spending time outdoors and staying active through sports. I enjoy playing different games and staying fit, and I also have a passion for driving. These interests not only keep me motivated but also fit well with the type of career I want to have in the future.

Hello, my name’s Anthony and I’m a big fan of punching. Punching heavy bags, not people, relax. Fun little fact that may be relevant as the semester goes on, I used to have long hair past my shoulders and decided to lop it off before getting my City Tech ID in the summer. So if if it starts looking like I’m trying to cosplay as Tarzan towards the end of the year, it’s because I’ve decided to grow my hair out again.

I’m majoring in paralegal studies for funsies, and to see if I actually like this field of work enough to continue with it. It seems interesting enough so far.

Hi everyone!! My name is Vashi. The reason why I decided to major in Law and Paralegal Studies was due to me stumbling across the profession of a paralegal. This led me to deep dive into the career of a paralegal, and it helped me to realize that my previous major wasn’t the best fit for me. Something you should know about me is I enjoy learning about new information, which is ironic given how we will be learning a “new language” for this class.
