5:15-6:30 I drove from Brooklyn to Queens so my sister could go to her dance class.   1.25

I enjoyed keeping track of my time because I realized how much time I spent doing daily tasks and how it all adds up. I understand why employers would want their employees to do it but it also seemed slightly unnecessary to document the same things I do over and over again. I also realized how much time adds up when you live in a congested area and spend a lot of time sitting in traffic and looking for parking. It puts things into perspective on how much time is wasted.

Making this Log actually motivated me to get up and do certain chores And tasks that I didn’t really wanna do. To be honest, I am looking forward To making more time keeping logs in the future to help me manage my time for getting certain tasks done. What was really surprising to me was that I managed to do all these things in a very short amount of time because I was setting Time limits for each task. Considering I have no sense of time management this really did help me get better.

Time keeping my day made me realize how social my life actually is and how much I get done in one day, I’m not really a fan of it because most of the time my days are long and filled with unexpected quest beside class or completely boring. But it is nice to keep track of what I did just for memory and organization sake.

Total time: 8.50 hours

My reaction:
At first, I thought keeping track of my time would be annoying, but it actually made me realize how much I do in a day without thinking about it. I didn’t notice before how early I start and how much time goes into just commuting and preparing for work. Writing it down helped me see that small tasks, like cleaning or setting up, really add up over time. I also realized how easily time can slip away when something unexpected happens, like missing a stop. Overall, I felt more aware of how I spend my time and what parts of my day take the most energy.
