I would like to work at Klein Civil Rights, located at 305 Broadway #700, New York, NY 10007. They’re a small law firm that focuses exclusively on civil rights matters. Their area of practice includes police and correctional brutality, wrongful convictions, and prisoners’ rights. I’m interested in working there because they’re helping innocent people not get convicted for crimes they didn’t do and bringing justice to those who have suffered from police brutality. Both are major repeating issues I’ve witnessed and heard of in my community and I would like to see real change happen. As a paralegal, I’ll be able to help organize important documents and keep up with deadlines, important dates and interview victims. Making it easier for lawyers to properly and efficiently help as many people as they can.
