The final and Biggest event of the year!

Remember when I told you about the event called Indie Works, earlier? well this is biggest Indie Works event one out of all of them and the final one of the year too. You see, for Congested Cat the year starts in June and ends in April of the following year (with them taking May off). This is where all the films from the winners in the the past year of Indie Works are shown.

During this night 11 films are shown (with no interviews being given) and a vote is cast for the top film. This has to be my favorite of all of the IW eventsI attended..the biggest reason being that Drinks are half off and I’m not one to turn down such a good deal. I don’t condone drinking during work but luckily my supervisor was cool with me drinking (as long as it was in moderation)

This is the event I have done the most work for and let me tell you, It was a doozy.  Posters had to be designed, guests had to be invited, banners had to be created, I even had to edit a video Reel of all the films being shown. I think it was well worth it. There was so many people and the atmosphere was great. People left excited and I even met some new Friends along the way. i think it was a great way to end my internship (technically).
