I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at New York City College of Technology (CUNY). I am the radiology lecturer and instructor. I am also a clinical instructor for both freshman and senior dental hygiene students. I have served as a New York State Dental Board Member since 2011. I have been an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association (ADHA) since 1989. I am the newly appointed faculty advisor for SADHA at New York City College of Technology. Elected in 2017 as a Board Member to the Dental Hygienists’ Association of the City of New York (DHACNY). Appointed as Educational Chairperson for DHACNY in 2018. I have 30 years as a practicing Public Health and Pediatric Dental Hygienist. In addition, I am a dental hygiene licensing examiner for The Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (CDCA). I am a New York State representative Steering Committee member for The Commission on Dental Competency Assessments (CDCA).
