Emerging Scholars from COMD Futures, Emerging Media Technologies, and Architecture collaborated with Membit Inc. over the last few semesters to research, design, and develop City Tech’s Fun Facts Finder, an augmented reality campus tour.
This virtual tour uses the augmented reality application Membit to help new students locate important locations and services on campus, meet community members, and share fun facts about City Tech.
Student-created video shorts are placed (geolocated in AR space) at each location and feature students, faculty, and staff from multiple departments around the college.
