CUNY TV May Have a Spot for a Fall Intern

Dear students,

In the past two years, we have had students at CUNY TV and they have had excellent experiences. This semester, because of the pandemic, the internship is all remote and the students would not be actively on-location shooting as in the past, but instead be working on post-production editing and research for broadcasts, as well as working on graphics for programs.

This would be a valuable experience for any student interested in motion graphics or video production. Here’s the brief info and contact information.

CUNY TV is seeking Fall 2019 interns. We have had  City Tech interns there the past two semesters and they have had very positive experience there. Below is the general job description for a CUNY TV  internship:

Attend virtual meetings

*Pitch story ideas

*Research

*Fact Check

*Source Broll

*Interact with in-house Library team

*Production Assist on Edits

*Assist in online social distribution for assigned show

Pay: no pay – -it’s for credit (3 credits)

Location: you will be working remotely but as an FYI, CUNY TV  is at 365 5th Ave, NYC

Hours / Schedule: based on school’s requirement — normally 8 hr/wk minimum 120 hrs per semester

Requirements: interest/experience in broadcast/communications

How to Apply: please send me your resume and portfolio link as I will review it before sending it on to the supervisor at CUNY TV.
