Staten Island Museum Seeks a Programming and Marketing Intern

This one is again for those of you who wish to learn more about advertising/Marketing as you will be working on the social media campaign for the Summer Nights program at the museum. Strong written skills will be necessary as well as design skills. This is a paid spot which also has a stipend. To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

1) Will be enrolled as a full time undergraduate student as of the Fall 2018 semester. You must be a rising Junior or Senior.
Attend college in New York City, or live in New York City. 
3) Have an Expected Family Contribution of less than $5000. This number is on your FAFSA form, to see what it looks like — click here.

The Museum of the City of New York has internship opportunities for Summer and Fall 2018

Dear students, this is a gem of a museum in Manhattan at 5th Ave and 103rd Street. This museum contains an award-winning exhibit on NYC’s history and a very interesting revolving set of exhibitions. A design student could learn a great deal interning at this museum. They take internships in Summer, Fall and Spring. The internships aren’t paid so you will want to be enrolled in COMD 4900 to get credit and the experience you gain should be excellent. The Brooklyn Museum regularly seeks interns in different areas, including graphic design interns. The deadline for their summer internship program was April 20th. However, the position of Graphic Design Intern is still listed so might not be filled. Even if it was filled, however, it is possible that they will be seeking a Graphic Design Intern for Fall 2018 so you could write a cover letter that says you are interested in either a Fall or Summer internship.
