Museum of Moving Image Summer Internships/Full-time and Paid

Here’s a great opportunity for those interested in working for a NYC cultural institution doing helping with exhibit design or web design or PR or archival projects. Here’s the link to the online application and info about the internships: http://www.movingimage.us/about/internships. These are paid, full-time internships that last from June 6 until August 12th. They are only for students entering their senior year in Fall 2016 or recent college graduates/graduate students.

Move fast on this as applications are due March 26th. We do have a graduate of the COMD department working at the Museum full-time so a CityTech student with a strong portfolio and resume will be noticed. As the site notes, finalists will be interviewed in person or by phone. Successful applicants will be notified no later than May 8.

The museum has positions open in the following areas: Film, Exhibition/Graphic Design, Membership/PR and Institutional Archive . Read the full descriptions of the positions at http://www.movingimage.us/about/internships
