In the past a few details that were lacking in art and education was the motivation and lack of fundamental meaning. Students was taught that appeasing your clients or audience to whatever demand he/she wants was what makes a good designer or artist. While it is true that in the field of design we are expected to deliver what the audience wants it , also is what hold us back from thinking freely and applying it to our work. in the past and even in modern times many designers were never touaght how to apply creative effort while pleasing your client. In the text ”Walter Gropius; The Theory and Organization of the Bauhaus ” it states “ in its place is rising the idea of a universal unity in which all opposing forces exist in a state of absolute balance “. When Walter Gropius wrote this book in 1923 he explained that designers at that time were working like a lifeless machine and lacked any effort or care in he/hers work. In design it is important for designers to change ones effort and attitude in order to produce a good product. While todays teaching in art and design is better then what it was years ago there are a few things that some schools should try to encourage such as having creative output on a design and or having creative freedom.

The possibilities that these authors envision for the future is the changes that occur in the world and how do we as designers adapt to the changes. In order be a designer we must keep up with the daily changes that occur in our world . Changes allow for improvements in our skills,knowledge and refines our thinking of design. If we do not have the abilIty to change then we wont be able to adapt to the modern usage of technology and also it prevents an individual from evolving and learning new changes the evolves around us. Every day human technologies evolves and changes. This results in the thought process of what can be implemented in a new design piece. In the article “Who We Are” by Aleksandr Rodchenko, Rodchenko stated “previously Engineers relaxed with art now Artists relax with technology , Sketch of “production clothing,” 1922.what’s needed is no rest Who saw a wall….
Who saw just a plane everyone and no one
Someone who had actually seen came and simply showed”. Technology is used to create better and advanced design peaces . Technology has evolve to the point where it is hard to adapt new and better technology. Once we start to adapt and get better in our design we can work and relax on our creativity
the ad that intrest me the most is the new dr strange movie. while i will admit that i kind of choose it due to my love of marvel i also choose it for other reasons. For example i like the way they used the music and how they shot the important scenes , it makes it feel grander then life itself. Also i like they way they used the fonts it feels like it could be a big movie event.
In my opinion design is a persons thoughts, idea , experience, philosophy, and ideology that can be compiled and translated as a image , drawing, poster , article and etc. The common belief is that design a plan or drawing produced to show the look and function of an object or product. However i disagree with that definition. I think Design can mean alot of things to a various amount of people it dose not have only one meaning. However I believe that design focus solely on how much experience you have as a person and as a designer. The more experience you gain in design the amount of ideas will increase and your beliefs in our world will expand. Depending on how affectively you use your ideology in a design, you can bring people who shares the same beliefs together. For example a poster that advertises a protest to stop pollution might bring in people who might share the same belief as you, which will result in people taking the initiative in stoping climate change .
From what i can gather by reading these articles and doing a little research language is a form communication that is bound to a different country or region. However that isn’t the entire definition of language. Language is a complex word to define many people assume that language links us to a name or a thing we associate ourself to. But it doesn’t inform us if language is vocal or psychological in nature. According to the article ” Course Of General Linguistics” it explains that language can be formed as a double entry by the association of multiple words. The article then further explains that language is “ psychological and are united in the brain by an associative bond.” Language doesn’t only combine thing and a name but an idea and a sound or image.
one should understand that proper language and other forms of communication can differ from each other. For example language can focus on signs symbols and words, while other forms of communication emphasizes on getting the message across the individual or audience. However our concept and sound /imagery is the most important characteristic of proper language. Sound/image is the sensory of our brain which is associated with what we see or hear around us. If you observe your own speech we can move talk to our self or we can remember and repeat multiple amount of verses with out moving our mouth or lips. This is due to the fact that we associate the words and speeches of our language as Sound/images. However we can create misunderstandings if we are speaking in phonemes. We can avoid these misunderstandings by speaking the sound and sylables of a word if we can remember the names that are connected to sound/images.
The role that language play in design is an important one. language can be used to advertise a product or show your knowledge of design. This in return can help you resonate with audiences and they will be willing to pay or ask for your services. Using proper language can also bring a brand to life, which sets up a foundation and gives consistency between products or experience. Depending on how you use Language it makes it easy for clients to understand and thankful for our work.
While reading two articles on the field of graphic design I was able to learn the roles that design is able to play in our lives and culture. According to the article the author explains that graphic design explores the questioning, understanding and improving our knowledge of design. The question of How is solely focused in design. Questions like “how to use software, how to solve problems, how to organize information, how to get clients, how to work with printers, “ and etc are all major factors that play in the role of graphic design. Also a designers major role is to respond to the clients audiences, publishers, institutions, and collaborators demands and suggestions. As designers our contribution to daily life is to exist below the start of public recognition.
What distinguishes the felid of design from other fields of creativity Is building of a social network that questions and explains every day practice. When a designer explains there practices in their work it inspires up incoming designers to hone their skills and experiment with sharp principles in mind . A designer can draw ideas out side the field of graphic design such as a political philosophy or literary criticism.
Designers should consern themselves with unsolvable theoretical questions due to stimulate and inspiring of new lines of questioning and thinking. This opens up new possibilities and theoretical opportunities. The most urgent problem that is facing graphic designers today is the mastery of an amazing range of technology. Also we must prepare ourself for a career that demands and terms from clients can constantly change at any moment. Another problem can be simply be getting there work out there , building your foundation and attracting clients to your work. We can solve these problems by reading more articles and books on the experience on other graphic designers. We should also engage in multiple discourse similar to the artIcle that was posted. Lastly we can creat a portfolio of our work by using social media and creating a following to atract people to your work
