For the posters I chose they were all a vertical angle of view in which the pictures were taken from a frontal view. In each picture you can only see from practically the neck up as the focal point all resides on the face. But these photos appear to have a butterfly lighting as the light is coming from behind the camera with a rather tight framing. But I don’t think there is much fill light because I don’t see much shadows.
Just to clarify, the top three photos DO have fill as the shadows are soft.
You shot in direct sunlight. Next time try using diffused light for softer shadows.
