Lab Exercise 10 – Light Direction

  • Direct front light
  • Direct side light
  • Direct back light
  • Directional diffused front light
  • Directional diffused side light
  • Directional diffused back ligt
Looking for the direct light was much easier since I remembered having a lamp to use for it. Finding a spot around my home for the directional diffused lighting was more troubling to figure out.

    The difference between directional diffused and direct light is that one is the sunlight or the lamp falling directly on the subject, creating strong shadows while directional diffused light shows where it is coming from but does not have harsh shadows.
