Lab: Week9 Optical Vs Digital

After shooting three objects, I used Focos to adjust the background blur. But I think it would be better if I use the iPhone camera to adjust the focus myself.

    In your first example, there is some actual space depicted in the photo. By this I mean that the foreground is farther away from the camera than the background. So you can really see the shallow depth of field in both examples.

    the other two examples because you are shooting from more of an overhead angle, there is less actual space shown. The flat table is more or less the same distance from the camera and the shallow depth of field is much less pronounced.
