LL: Motion

This image is a good example of frozen motion as we can clearly see Emily swinging in motion. However, the image only shows a still frame of the motion she is creating with the swing, so it is frozen motion.

 

This photo is a good example of blurred motion because the chair is blurred while Emily spins around in the chair. It creates a feeling like she is spinning extremely fast.

    Emily’s expression is so genuinely happy in your frozen motion example. I just wish it was more in focus. it can be very challenging to focus on someone in motion. that is what the setting AI Servo is for. I talked about it in class but did not mention it when we were outside. Keep it in mind for next time.

    The blurred motion is lovely.

    Check your files in Lightroom to see what shutter speeds they were shot at. My guess is the the first one is at 1/500 and the one in the classroom is around .5 or 1 second.
