this was my favorite piece from the valentines day shoot because with the way the camera zooms in on the landscape of the plant, it allows the roses in the back to look even more beautiful

This is a great example of using photographic style to really transform something ordinary into something totally different.
The strong side light on the leaf and the sharp focus placed here do turn it into a landscape. the shallow depth of field alter the flowers in the background into and abstract fringe.
