In Adobe photoshop to create a curves adjustment you need to click the curve icon. You can find the curve icon is in the adjustment panel . Next you go to layer, and create a adjustment layer, and then click the curves tool. After go to the properties panel, this lets you click the curve where you can adjust it without any interference.

To create a merging layer on top of a stacking order you need to have your layers in the order you want. if its not in order you can always just drag the layers in order. next to merged the layers you would hold down the command button and click each of the layers you would like to merge. Once you’re done that just click merge selected and it should merging it.

In photoshop you would like to click the curve icon which looks similar to a graph. This would be in the adjustment panel if you can’t seem to find it. Then you would go to choose layer, and create an adjustment layer, and then curves. Once you do that click Okay which would be in the new layer you had created. After that has been done, then go to the properties panel. This would let you directly click the curve line where you can adjust it. Then you would click the On-set adjustment tool and then would drag that in the area you would like to adjust. You would then again click the On-set adjustment tool and click the tonal areas of your work to help adjust it. Then you would pick a preset if you would like to change the tones.

If you already had a stacking order and wanted to put a merged layer you would hold down the command button and click each of the layers you would like to merge. Once you’re done that just click merge selected and it should help with merging it all.
