Learning Self Analysis

I remember the first day I was admitted into the nursing program it was a dream come true. I told myself that the journey has begun. I was filled with enthusiasm as to what will come next. My journey started with a single step that span into many years from associate program to Baccalaureate. It has been an amazing journey with reward.

During my associate, program, I went to many hospitals where I had my clinical. It gave me the opportunity to have a good sense of what the profession was all about. I remembered when I could not administer medication, but today I will be very eager to go to a patient room to put a smile on the patient’s face. The baccalaureate program exposed me to higher thinking whereby you are trained not just to be a bedside nurse but a leader. I have learned that nurses are very important partners in health care.

The different styles of teaching like debate, discussion, and writings used in the nursing program have improved my thinking and communication skills. Having reached this far in the program, I will say that I have developed both psychologically and emotionally. I now understand the reason while nursing is the most trusted profession in the Unites States.
