The top left Layering and literal transparency as a 3D printed object run by M.I.T. The layering is clearly shown through the glass. Each layer is a tube of glass which pass cables through them in the near future. The whole reason behind the project is to run/contain  media through the tubes.

The top left photo is an example that overlap and create a new pattern.It also uses a form of color transparency in the colors because all of the colors seem through combined with one another creating a strange effect

The third photo on the bottom is also fabric which shows overlapping  which creates various textures on the fabric itself.  Having a form with opaque lines creating the overlapping effect

Hudson yards studios

My primary reason to why I would pick this as the 1st  would be because of the fact that I went to see how the workplace at hudson yards functions. On the way I learned the offices are pretty modern and have a reasonable  amount of workspace. The technology varies from old to new. Macs are prominently used for such things as the rhino, motto,and other programs they use. They have several render servers which is very useful when having a lot to deal with. Their marketing goes through several popular companies like  Chanel, and Victorias secret. http://www.hudson-yards.com/

I’d also work for the Big Spaceship here near the Dumbo district. I love Brooklyn,and I could expect the Work there to be amazing. They are a marketing company  which both unifies the product and the design, product, and logk together in order to create whatever to guide plans foward.Companies such as  Youtube, Purina, BMW,Fred Segal, Google Play and (my most favorite company) Samsung.

Last but not least is Stink Digital

Stink Digital is a company which started in the early 2000s ,but has got a lot of attention and have clients such as netflix ,Google, Vicelamd,Zalando,and spotify. The company has it’s own benefits to the work area such as, personal development funds, Friendly talented colleagues (according to them) , and3 p.m. Fridays ( I guess thats the time work ends)

I love this perk mostly because I love reading The New York Times. Ever since I was a 7th grader I was always into the fonts used for the particular newspaper and the physical feel of them.  Nowadays I don’t really have the time or money to physically/digitally pay to read the Ny Times on the go. So having it digitally is amazing on my end. The best part about it is that its free compared to my college tution. The site is very informative since it always updates you on the latest news and stocks. Without the the Times I wouldn’t know some of the people I know today because I used to go to some events that were advertised on it. 

Walking from Brooklyn to Wall street seems easy compared to the work graphic/ CGI designers put into to Hudson yards. The product design they make ranges from Victoria’s secret to Chanel. When they start on a project given to them by a company they would usually have a CAD file given to them by the company to use them, but these people weren’t accustomed to how “quirky” the CAD file would be so they would use it as a template to remodel the product in order to make it easier to change it. the program used to create this is called Motto. Although they do have the program called Rhino which read CAD files better they choose to use the Motto program. When asked if they could use the Program “Maya” they declined the use because of the fact that they disliked it and it was ” too complicated” in addition to that it’s usually used by many game companies because of how well it performs with motion.In order to be efficient with their company they have render servers that would render a project that would take 2 to 3 days to render in a separate room so they can work on many other files. They’ve also mentioned a massive amount of change has occurred in this decade alone  over these. Many of the systems have been getting smaller and more efficient in creating what they need to finish what they started. Overall the trip has opened me to deeper meaning to the term of communication design because the in order to keep the customer appeased that have to communicate with them as fast as possible In Addition to the story Yes I did walk from City Tech to Hudson yards or 80 Broadway street because I forgot money for  the train.

Most of the textures are successful due to the shadows it gives off. It is also successful because of the fact that the tapes shadows gives of the feel of roughness itself when being looked at.

    I feel my project can be used for building art in a lobby area.  The reason behind that s because most building with lobby art it’s more appeasing than a building without it. Usually architecture can be inspiring and amazing,but I messed up in severely in  part of the craftsmanship. It’s not as straight,but it’s sole existence is to appease to the eye.
