iPad App Research Begins!

I am so excited that you are so keen to be my research subjects! I will be asking you loads of questions about how you are learning things. I will put up any good sketches I create–I am still in the early phases, but should have visuals soon.

Class Survey One

Go to the site Lost Type Coop. Go to the Browse page and pick your favorite font. Download and install that font using Font Book and write a paragraph with the following information using InDesign.

  • What is the font’s name?
  • Who created the font?
  • Looking at the 5 families of type, to which family would you say your favorite font belongs? If your font is not fitting into those classifications, call me over and ask about it.
  • What do you like about the font? What does it remind you of? What sort of tone does it create for you?

Make a PDF of your report and email it to me. Be sure to title your email ADV 1227 Fall 12 [your name].

This survey is not a part of your Type Book.
