Have 3 ideas in Illustrator for the next class. Remember that we do not meet next week.

Create a personal brand combining at least two letters and one other item of your choice. You will be using Illustrator.

Continue working on your icons: they are due next week. I will expect them to be turned in as .ai files, unflattened. Please clean your files up as I demonstrated in class.
Prepare for Quiz 1: you will be asked to perform certain tasks in Photoshop and Illustrator. Go over what we have worked on so far and you will be fine.

We will be starting our first multi-week assignment: Illustrator Icons. This assignment will be due September 19 at the beginning of class.
Using Illustrator, you will create a set of three icons. Here is a slide show I will use to go over the assignment.
Here are some examples of simple icons that you can use for inspiration:
Have your three objects chosen and drawn in your sketchbook. We will be critiquing these drawings. You will then improve the drawings and scan them into the computer during class.
