About Us – City Tech Writer

Welcome to City Tech Writer! CTW is New York City College of Technology, CUNY‘s annual interdisciplinary journal of undergraduate writing and art.

History

Since 2006, City Tech Writer has published distinguished student writing and art in a variety of genres.

For two decades, English professors Lucas Kwong, Suzanne Miller, Mark Noonan, Megan Behrent, George Guida, Johannah Rodgers, and Jane Mushabac have edited City Tech Writer, ushering student work through the editorial and publication process across print and digital iterations of CTW. We are profoundly grateful for their dedication, vision, and tireless efforts to introduce new generations of talented City Tech student artists to the world.

We focus on publishing excellent work from across the disciplines, by students from our range of academic degree programs.

Our student often submit work that they produce for specific City Tech classes, sponsored by City Tech professors and departments—as well as work they have created in their creative endeavors outside of class.

The OpenLab at City Tech:A place to learn, work, and share

The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
