Thousands of New Yorkers will gather for a mass rally and march in solidarity with Minneapolis-St. Paul and their call for a national “Day of Truth and Freedom” as they face an expanding occupation and escalating ICE violence. After a short program, the march will proceed from Union Square at 14th Street, past the Palantir offices at 18th Street, Home Depot on 23rd Street, and Jeff Bezos’s apartment building on 5th Avenue. This is our moment to demand an end to billionaire‑funded brutality, to shut down tech for ICE, and to say loudly: Hands Off Our Communities! Register on the webform at this link to march with the PSC contingent.
PSC members will gather at 3:45 PM at E. 16th Street and Union Square West on the park side of the street, near the subway entrances (map link). Dress warm and look for union staff in orange vests carrying red and white signs.
Steps off from Duarte Square (6th Ave. & Canal St.) 11 AM, Saturday, October 18
This Saturday, October 18, everyone in our union–in our city–has a chance to stand against rising fascism at the No Kings mobilization.Register here to march with the PSC in the No Kings Labor March, a feeder march that will start at 11 AM from Duarte Square, 6th Avenue & Canal Street (map). A powerful coalition of labor unions will march up 6th Avenue and converge with other groups at 14th Street.
Don’t be confused if you see No Kings communications from other organizations that say the march will begin at Times Square at 47th and 7th. Some groups will start there but the city’s labor movement will meet at Duarte Square (6th Ave. and Canal St.). We will all meet up at 14th Street.
Bring neighbors, friends, and family. Let’s Make this Big!
