    • Measure your room and lay out the existing plan – Should be complete and ready to review by class time
    • Develop your design concept, and study different layout changes to the space – sketch sketch sketch!
    • Compile a set of inspirational images that can inform your design
    • Final Presentations due Saturday, 12/19 by 12:00pm

To-Do After Class

  • Finish the Final Assignment – Personal Space
    • Final deliverables are:
      • Written Statement
        • 2 – 3 paragraphs summarizing your design concept and overall project
      • One (1) existing plan of the room you are modifying
      • One (1) proposed plan showing your changes (if the changes include more than one level, include a plan for each)
      • Four (4) interior elevations or sections that fully capture the interiors of the space
      • One (1) 3D drawing – axon or perspective – which captures your biggest design intervention (i.e. don’t show me your closet…)
      • Minimum of 2 sketches that show how your design has progresses (more = better)
      • Inspirational images that informed your design
    • Final Presentations due Saturday, 12/19 by 12:00pm
      • Submit to Dropbox here
