The message: There is a person who tries to listen in some mysterious ways or perhaps listing the important message to hear the good news or the bad news, the font is a simple message with a mysterious typographical way.

And how: The typography is not an order to deliver the message but it’s quite messy in the move letters are close to each other’s combined as well as some high and low and it feels like unity standing together to face one another. Except, the important message has been delivered to civilization in a simple typeface as well .

You: This image is a simple design that may or may not lead to our lives. The image has different shapes of circles and two shades of color are black and white, which are negative and positive. The design is a simple circle as if shooting contest darts this idea is a different design that could lead to a different dimension. This design explains the different ways we can drive you crazy, whether we are hypnotized by the government, whether we are happy or sad. Living in the real world or perhaps living in different worlds drives you mentally insane.

Your work: This image shows the truth of a group of men showing their faces and noses feeling ready to go into action to survive among humans. This image shows the same pattern, the same face, and it feels like a government-controlled marching soldier preparing for war.

In the article “Underground Mainstream”, Stephen Heller Speaks about the commercial culture of design. Many markers steal ideas from visionaries in public products and even design propaganda. In the 60s every generation is changing by freedom of speech what was happening in the government also in the Vietnam war and many people had done sex, drugs, Rock ‘n’ Roll, happened that is called the Summer of Love. Many musicians and visual artists helped to define the culture’s distinct characteristics. “Psychedelic art a distinct vocabulary, influence by earlier graphic idioms”. This explains how designers have changed the world creating magnificent ideas of the youth culture and people were against it for the Christianity beliefs.

Culture jamming is a more effective design that can create a usual design of cultures. Some brands related to the barcode create designs of multiple lines and codes—the reason to develop barcodes is to identify what is what we see. For example, some codes had scanned one of the materials are clothes food other materials products. These are the intensifying the user, which is the barcode.

These are called when someone would steal it, nothing would let getaway that would face the consequences of punishment. That code represents a visual design of meaning is a person who is holding hands on the barcode showing that the person who’s in prison in life. If use that it’s not about stealing the material, it’s about the world we live for. In this world we living in is getting worse or is getting better we don’t know all we can see is the part code represents The man behind bars that we were living in technology and present.

We are free but our personal life is not in our privacy meaning that the big brother is watching us that also explains the book of George oh well explains the future in 1984 life of technologies just changes our lives are we living a good life or what technology is getting worse. The ideas of the graphic design present culture of youth and the design of propaganda. Designs were made by graphic designers who can create an impossible way how we see a vision.

There are artists like us who have come from different countries to create something possible in graphic design. Some People have negativity about African-Americans who had to create some designs of their culture have enthusiasm and beauty. Therefore, black history has gotten stronger. People have forgotten thinking is not important. Every designer trying to fight back to identify their culture, many African-Americans will never give up their talent, no matter how far others may have tried to push them down.
In the article, “Celebrating the African-American Practitioners Absent From Way Too Many Classroom Lectures”. This explains many African-American artists had created impossible artwork for many years and others didn’t interest at all. One of the interesting quotes some white cultures won’t appreciate the African culture, “as a handful of African-American designers seemed exempt from the model is an influence which maybe because they didn’t work in advertising or commercial.” This explains that some of the white cultures are saying that African-Americans who are designers have not educated enough.
Jerome Harris speaks about “Dethroning of Absolute” working by African-Americans graphic designers seeking questions to inspire active and challenged to design the community culture research history. The show at MICA presents printed ephemera from history. Harris spokes about designs and educators to create exhibit concepts and concern to select five dividual’s objects. While Harris was in grad school, he had to complete his research project life of work that was his choice of design. How is this site to create and use buddy Esquire as the party designer of hip-hop culture? Some designs were incomplete to research is hard to find in a year?
Harris researches black history art because it’s important that way designers who were African-Americans didn’t talk about that we’re legends. Speaking of modeling techniques and graphic design had become enthusiasm. Buddy Esquire and Phase 2, were taught to experience their graphic design and had become graffiti writers even W.E.B. DeBois wanted to make infographics and he did with no training at all.
Another article related topography as a radical act in the interest he ever dominated by white men. Tré Seals wanted to change the history of letters’ fonts as cultural objects. Seals had created vocal type creating typefaces to put website history into significant backstories in 2016. The topography is notorious for racial homogeneity. They were two ways to design fonts that are not from the tech as design. They represent the typeface of racial discrimination to bring peace, such as Honoring The King’s: End of Racism and Union Justice, those present two males who are different cultures white and black showing both posters in photography. A woman artist is an African-American showing design of culture using tools of knowledge to create a powerful topography vocal types fonts platform are radical act, not because they are different it’s the political act.
Every history of graphic design culture it had become stronger trying to identify for their identities and how I freaking Americans did not give up their dreams to become graphic designers learning in black history are there are not along they had survived the important pieces had collected in their studies research had become better people.

Most designs have different meanings for pictures, like magazine posters. Every artist has a unique vision. Does it mean they broke the rules? Many orders make a difference. It could be possible to create new designs that are so difficult to create. Some rules have elements that could bring balance. Even the grid guide on how to create a design would make a simple structure.
Every artist has a meaning of typography and mostly designs, therefore could not break the rules. Every artist who creates their rules for themselves to make a simple design and even topography can make the reader clear the creative process is to be reduced to an act of selection. designing means picking out determining elements and combining them. Seeing in these terms, designing calls for a method. Gerstner can make it possible to create a design and show us what the design looks like.
Jan Tschichold in 1923 he was 21 years old he was a German topographer the Bauhaus exhibit Tatian and we are more measured and influenced design by the Stijl showing examples creating new topography what change him for a decade he put classical training of typography and wrote a book in 1928 the new Apollo Griffey which is a made an idea “The New Typography” an experiment to create impossible making newspapers in different fonts one design was not clear there were many kinds of types and sizes which makes the reader difficult to read the design was made from Munaher. Tschichold created a simple design topography that was built a few sizes and had five different fonts which were clear to read. Josef Muller Brockmann, who create an order graphic design into a grid of Swiss topography and create designs of elements irrotational and chaotic, brought them under tight measurements control. Spending time in his life in Zurich creating objectives timeless and method communication. The key was the grid miller broke man once said “working within the grid system means submitting to laws of universal validity.” Spring the principles of Swiss typography in graphic design in 1958 who was the founder and the graphic design magazine got promoted and Swiss magazine in musica Viva poster of buildup on the grid in four fields and two words musica Viva.
Karl Gerstner creator of rational symmetric graphic design as a pioneer of Swiss topography or chemistry he has trained to create designs of the art of science and create designs of the computer making simple structure designs more ideas to create fonts typography creating space even upside down even following the steps of the elements could create impossible basic components different typeface every design is a beauty not breaking the elements guide, the grid.
Those are the artist who had not created their own rules for themselves. They create how a graphic design should be created, a guide which is elements and grid could create a simple design and typography could make the reader understand of meaning in design.

Hall, Sean. This Means This, This Means That: A User’s Guide to Semiotics, Laurence King Publishing, 2012. pgs 21-67.

  • How has language shaped design historically?
We people use our language as a tool for communication with other people in history. Writers use words to communicate with their readers and designers use visual language to communicate with their users. Fonts, colors, shapes, visual elements, these are elements of design language.
  • Can visual design accomplish things that language cannot? Why?
Visual design is to improve a design’s usability with suitable images, typography, space, layout, and color. Visual design is about more than aesthetics. Although the language is written words are to language, fonts, colors, shapes, and icons are to visual design. Writers use words to communicate with their readers, while designers use visual language to communicate with people.
  • How are signs, signifiers, and the signified employed in visual communication? Provide examples from contemporary or historical advertising.
Signs are often thought to be composed of two inseparable elements: the signifier and the signified. One thing that is intriguing about the relationship between the signifier and the signified is that it can be arbitrary. For example, when I use the word “dog” in order to talk about a certain furry four-legged domestic creature, I employ a signifier that is arbitrary. The sound made by the word “dog,” when uttered, is intrinsically no better than the made-up sounds “sog,” “pog,” or “tog” for talking about this animal. (This Means This, This Means That Ch1 page 26)
  • How are non-literal devices used to convey meaning in advertising? Provide examples from contemporary or historical advertising that use simile, metaphor, metonym, synecdoche, irony, lies, impossibility, depiction, or representation.

The purpose of a non-literary text is to impart information that, as a reader. Reading through a chapter of a textbook or document, and even though you were reading every word, for example advertisements, biographies, guide books, infographics, radio broadcasts, cartoons, magazine articles, travel writing and photographs.

The word “blind” is the carrier of the meaning. This is the signifier. The meaning of the word, on the other hand, is that which it signifies (e.g., that someone lacks sight). This suggests that the word “blind” is a signifier meaning blind is text, the other signifies you picturing a person who lost their sign. This could also imply the word “blind” signified a text made of symbols of dots called Braille and could help people who lost their sign. The adjective, blind·er, blind·est. unable to see; having severely impaired or absolutely no sense of sight; sightless: a blind man. unwilling or unable to perceive or understand: They were blind to their children’s faults. The word “blind” presents symbols of dots it’s called Braille relating the sign, signified and signifier has of the meaning of Braille is a system of reading and writing by touch used by the blind. It consists of arrangements of dots that make up letters of the alphabet, numbers, and punctuation marks. There were words is transformed into dots to create symbols of word blind which is signified, helping people who had lost their sign the feeling of the fingertips represents signifier in text in their thoughts.

  • Interjections- An interjection is a word or phrase that expresses something in a sudden or exclamatory way, especially an emotion. Yikes, uh-oh, ugh, oh boy, and ouch are common examples of interjections. Example: There was a chorus of angry interjections when the people in the audience heard that their taxes would be going up. (it’s close related to onomatopeia).
  • Onomatopoeia- Onomatopoeia came into English via Late Latin and ultimately traces back to Greek onoma, meaning “name,” and poiein, meaning “to make.” (Onoma can be found in such terms as onomastics, which refers to the study of proper names and their origins, while poiein gave us such words as poem and poet.)
