On December of 2013, I participated in Greater New York Smiles Programs to promote education to various elementary students.  We taught the students the correct way to brush using the Fones technique. They also watched a film on brushing and were educated on the correct nutritional habits for healthy smiles.

In May of 2014, I participated in the Head Start Fluoride Varnish Program. This program was designed to decrease the incidence of children developing early childhood caries by applying 5% sodium fluoride varnish.  The children were screened for early caries lesions, and to let parents be aware of the conditions of their child’s oral health.
