Strengths

I have several individual strengths and skills that set me apart from the rest. I am energetic, highly motivated, and always ready to learn. I am dedicated to learning and I consistently read nursing journals and magazines. I am a very fast learner and I am able to communicate effectively. Communication is so important because nurses cannot know everything, so it is crucial that a nurse be able to facilitate strong relationships with colleagues. I am proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint, and I am very good with computer programs/technology. I am Nigerian-American and I am conversationally proficient in the Igbo language. I am patient, compassionate, and empathetic–these are 3 core traits that any nurse should have in order to provide adequate care. I am responsible, accountable, and autonomous. Morality is extremely important to me. I always strive to be as scrupulous and humane as possible, with colleagues and in my everyday life.
