Case 1: Heavy with type II perio

This patient is a 25 year old Asian male. He has not been to the dentist in at least 5 years. Radiographically, there were signs of generalized mild bone loss. He had probing depths ranging from 2 mm – 5 mm. He states he brushes twice a day but does not floss at home.

Case 2: Heavy with type III perio

This patient is a 50 year old Asian female. She had probing depths ranging from 3 mm – 6 mm and localized recessions. She has class I mobility on the anteriors. She presented with heavy subgingival calculus and heavy staining. She has not been to the dentist in 3 years, and she does not floss.
