My name is John Alicea, I am a student attending New York City College of Technology and majoring in Graphic Design for Advertising. I have been interested in design and photography ever since I was a child. Picking this major made sense to me once I reached college.

Creating appealing text to the eye is one of my favorite things to do as a designer. I use my knowledge in typography to accomplish such things. Creating strong grids for magazine layouts and posters is a specialty of mine. I have created posters, logos and flyers for various type of companies and continue to grow and learn in my design career. My goal as a graphic designer is to create visually aesthetic masterpieces to awe the viewers of my work.

On my spare time I like to take photos and read about photography. I am a big fan of black and white film.
