Step 1: Find fabric pieces that are worn out completely and almost feel like they have no more use.
Step 2: Soak your fabrics in any kind of salt you may own.
Step 2: Choose your natural dyes. I chose Turmeric and Blueberries.
Step 4: Boil your ingredients and bring them to a simmer before adding your dyes. While simmering, rinse your fabrics with only water and find a bucket or pot to soak them in with the dyes you have just made. (adding photos now)
Final Step: After soaking your fabrics for the desired time length (I chose 48 hours), rinse some of the dye off and wash them regularly with fabric detergent. For my fabrics that were dyed by blueberries, I ran a quick cycle on the washing machine machine and for my fabric on the turmeric, because I noticed the color fastening was not so well and you can barely see the blue dye on the t-shirts, I chose to wash the small towlette by hand and do my best to rinse out the turmeric so that it wont stain anything in the future.
