  1. Read Chapter 3 in your textbook.
  2. Review the video “How to Create a Pantone Color in Indesign.”
  3. Read the article “The Science of why no one agrees on the color of that dress.” Be prepared to discuss in class.

  1. Bring to class ideas for a banner for your  eportfolio site home page. You will be getting your bios back for revision. Once your bio is corrected, you will upload it to the  “About Me” page on your site.
  2. Find an example of a design in promotional or editorial materials that you think uses color to communicate effectively, and bring these images to class next week on a flash drive or have them accessible on Google drive or drop box, etc. Be prepared to analyze the design’s use of color using some of the terms used in your readings and that we have discussed in class (or will discuss in class next week). Is it using RGB or CMYK color or both? Warm or cool colors, etc.? Bring to class next week.
