However, the advanced course outlined specific areas of technical writing in real world scenarios such as writing sales pitches, knowing the difference between propaganda and technical writing, and focusing on feasibility studies. Throughout the course, skills such as precision, description, technical language, design, and conciseness of a particular document were further developed and enhanced.

The objective of the assignment was to write a report that specifically pointed out whether a company’s ad was pushing an agenda, if so to what extent and what kind of technical language did the ad use.
