In my current internship, I am responsible for creating social media slides that address important topics such as gender equality and children’s education. I use Canva on the company’s account to design the slides and source images from its library, including the company’s logo on each post. My supervisor is the Communications and Marketing Director, who provides guidance and support whenever needed.
This internship was introduced to me by my professor after my initial internship opportunity did not work out. The process began with a phone call, followed by a video interview on Microsoft Teams to discuss the company and my responsibilities. During the interview with the Chairman, we reviewed the logistics of the internship, including my supervisor’s role and expectations for submission of my tasks.
He emphasized the importance of clear communication, meaning that if I am unable to complete a task, I should inform my supervisor in advance. The hiring process was efficient, and the communication throughout was clear. This internship has proven to be a valuable opportunity, and I look forward to further developing my skills.
