Watu Pro Quiz Plugin
To get started, go to Plugins, in the left-hand menu of your Dashboard, and activate Watu PRO.
Add New Quiz
1. Go to Watu PRO > Quizzes in the left-hand menu of your Dashboard.
2. Click Create New Quiz.

3. Give your quiz a name. You can also add a description if youâd like. When youâre finished, scroll to the bottom and click Save All Settings.


Add Questions
1. To add a question, click Create New Question.

2. Write the text of your question in the text editing box. You can format the text (bold, italics, bullet points, etc). If you want to include images or other files in your question, use the Add Media button.

3. To choose what type of answers you want (e.g. multiple choices with a single answer (radio buttons), multiple choices with multiple answers (checkboxes), paragraph (open end)), scroll down to the Answer Type and Settings section. There are also additional settings you can choose here, for example, you may want to make the question required.

4. In the Answer section, add the text for each of the answer choices. If you would like to include text formatting, links, or images in the answers click the link for Rich Text Editor. Choose the Correct Answer for the question. You can also assign a number of points for the correct answer. If you donât add anything here, 1 point will automatically be assigned to the correct answer. When youâre finished, click one of the Save buttons at the bottom.

5. If you would like to include an explanation for a question, click the Show/hide box link in the section titled âOptional Answer Explanation / Feedback Shown At The Endâ. Add your explanation in the text box that appears.

5. Repeat this process as needed for all the questions included in the quiz.
Individual Quiz Settings
Each quiz has its own settings, which you can find from the Manage Questions page by clicking on Edit this Quiz, or from the Manage Quizzes page, by clicking Edit next to the quiz name.

There are many settings included here, but some of the more commonly used settings include the following:
- Randomize the order of questions: Go to General Settings tab > Quiz Settings section. In the dropdown for Randomization, choose the option you want for the quiz.
- Change how many questions appear per page: Go to General Settings tab > Pagination Settings. In the dropdown for Pagination, choose the option you want for the quiz.
- Display a progress bar or page numbers: Go to General Settings tab > Pagination Settings. Check âShow “Question X of Y” or “Page X of Y” textâ or âShow progress bar on topâ
- Schedule the quiz to be available at a certain time: Go to General Settings tab > Schedule Quiz.
- Require log-in for quizzes: If your site is public, you may want to choose this option to avoid spam. Go to the User and Email Related Settings tab, and select âRequire user log-inâ. Here you can also choose related settings, such as how many times users are allowed to take a quiz.
- Â Email notifications: To get an email notification when someone submits a quiz, go to the User and Email Related Settings tab, and select âSend me email with details when someone takes the quizâ.
- Email results to people: To send an email with their results to anyone who takes a quiz, select âSend email to the user with their resultsâ.
When youâre finished adjusting settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save All Settings.
