Deleting your account
Please note: These steps are for deleting your own personal OpenLab account and Profile and will delete the following:
- Your OpenLab profile and account information
- Pages on OpenLab sites created by you
- Discussion topics and replies created by you
- Docs created by you
- Files and other media posted by you.
If you would like to delete your Portfolio, or a Project, Club, or Course you have created, you should delete those first before deleting your entire account, or contact the Openlab team for help.
Your display name will be removed from posts or comments you have created on any OpenLab site and will appear as “Former OpenLab Member” but the content will remain. To delete posts or comments, please contact the OpenLab team.
1. Go to My OpenLab, then My Settings, then click Delete Account.
2. Check the box to confirm that you understand the consequences of deleting your account.
3. Click the Delete My Account button.
After that, your account will be deleted. At this point you will not be able to regain access to it.
